Felt Sculptures

Felt, made of carded wool whose fibres are interlocked with soap and water, can be infinitely shaped. I envelop some of the pieces with a covering of cotton, pigment and wax; the felt is visible through the mesh, and contrasts with the unadorned, soft-to-the-touch felt.
