My home and studio are nestled among century-old pines in Gatineau Park, Quebec, Canada. It is a landscape that I could only dream of while growing up in cosmopolitan Montreal. At university I studied sciences and completed a master in environmental studies. I went into the field of nature interpretation and education, working at Ontario Parks and the Canadian Museum of Nature. During a break in my career I saw an opportunity to change course and build on a lifetime of being a "maker".
A love of nature, design, and beauty fuels my art, my aesthetic being one of studied simplicity. I create 2 and 3-dimensional pieces with textiles and fibres.
My work is held in the City of Ottawa Fine Art Collection, and my recent exhibition history includes General Fine Craft, Almonte, Ontario; World of Threads Festival, Oakville, Ontario; Darrell Bell Gallery, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; Wall Space Gallery, Ottawa, Ontario.
